Quarterly Presentations; Native Plant Sensory; Flower Arranging and January's presentation on Herbs
Members, Georgette and Carol gave an Herb Sensory Presentation, including sights, smells, textures of fragrant herbs, including basil, mint, dill, chives, parsley, cilantro and rosemary. They also included fragrances of citrus, lavender and cinnamon as they wove herbal properties with folklore and memories. Their presentation was accompanied with taste sensory which included potato chips and chive dip; rosemary focaccia bread; cinnamon apple popcorn crisps; lemonade and mint chocolates. As you can imagine, the residents loved it!!
