Local Artists are undertaking the challenge of painting or drawing their vision of a gardening theme, which can include birds, Insects, fruits, vegetables, and of course a garden. Viewing runs from February 5 through February 28th.

Stockton Garden Club is hosting a reception on February 21st for both artists and the general public. There is no fee for viewing. Local Artists wishing to submit their art should contact the Goodwin Art Gallery on Pacific Ave

Dedication of the California Native Plant Atrium Garden inside the Nature Center

A curated selection of 5 professionally maintained Rose Gardens will be a delight to tour. As you stroll through the gardens enjoy refreshments while listening to classical music, watch pleinair artists painting the gardens and learn how to create beautiful bouquets from FFA Floral Groups' demonstrators.

Five Rose Gardens include:
• Faye Fontini Spanos Rose Garden at St. Basil Greek Orthodox Church
• Private Rose Garden of Gerry Dunlap at the home of Jane & Jerry Butterfield
• Knoles Rose Garden at University of Pacific
• University Park World Peace Rose Garden at University Park
• Gerry Dunlap Rose Garden at the Haggin Museum, Victory Park

Net proceeds from this event will fund scholarships to Delta College Horticulture Department.

In celebration of Stockton Garden Club & Stockton Symphony's 100th year, the Club will place Poinsettias on the stage and present the featured artist with a bouquet of flowers.
