Solidago velutina, California Goldenrod.
Native perennial herb, up to 5' tall with yellow flowers in the fall.  Host to checkerspots, crescents, sphinx moths. Blooming now in our Habitat Garden.
Community Service
Our ongoing community service project
project at Victory Park is at 9am on the
second Sunday of every month from April to November where we weed and deadhead the Rose Garden. Bring your gloves, clippers, trowels, and buckets and join the fun.
